International Yoga Day 2016 Celebration
Under the visionary Leadership of Hon. Prime Minister Shri Narendrabhai Damodardas Modi, 21st June has been declared as the INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY. Yoga has not been limited and restricted to any community, religion, area, nation, society or any individual economy, but today the entire world has accepted and started practicing yoga with great interests. The whole credit for this is, completely vested to our cultural roots. It has been decided and declared to celebrate this great day at the National, State, District, Taluka and Village levels, as well as by the individuals, Institutions, Universities and NGOs too.
Yoga is a physical, mental and spiritual practice or discipline irrespective of all mental differences among people. Education is the place where yoga can definitely play a key role, in making both the faculties and students physically and mentally strong enough, thus building a healthy environment, leading towards a better future.
Yoga helps in increasing the learning ability of the students, inspires faculties to teach their subjects in a different way, and also reduces the stress faced by students in a classroom.
To bring the vital change in our pupils, faculties and ultimately in our society, LJMCA has shown its responsibility by participating in the yoga day celebration arranged at the GMDC ground, Ahemedabad, on 21st June,2016 early in the morning at 6 am.
