L.J. Polytechnic (LJP) started its academic in September 2008 under the aegis of Lok Jagruti Kendra (LJK) to run full Diploma Engineering Programmes. LJP is established with the aim to develop comprehensive professional training to bridge the existing gap between formal system and the realistic modern technological skill requirements of the Industry. 


A planned, disciplined green environment beautiful landscaping with sweet sound of birds and vivacious hunt for knowledge by the young aspirants provide unique atmosphere in the L.J. Campus. The environment inspires the learners to pursue the quest for knowledge along with development of skills in their preferred areas.

L.J. Polytechnic is affiliated to Gujarat Technical University since 2008. The institute follows the curriculum and the schedules of the University for academic and operational purposes. Since its inception, LJP has been granted University Affiliation for its all programmes. The institutes’ programmes have been approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi.



Admission Procedure

In accordance with the policy of the Government of Gujarat and like other Polytechnic institutes affiliated to different universities in the State, LJP admits students through centralized admission process conducted by Joint Admission Committee for Professional Diploma Courses (ACPDC) of the State.


The Institute normally surrenders 75% of seats to the ACPDC which finalizes the admission, collects the fees and sends the data to the Institute. Admissions to remaining 25% seats of Management Quota are made out of the requests received from other students who may have qualified as per ACPDC norms in response to the Institutes advertisement. However, the admissions to these 25% seats are finalized only after they are confirmed by ACPDC.
